When people think about “marble” most don’t really think “high tech” but Boston Stone Restoration recently provided some modern stone technology insights to a project completed by The Theo and Isabella Design Group that was featured in the Lifestyle section of the Boston Globe.
The homeowner was initially against using natural marble because she was concerned about its care, but the designers “…looked at man-made materials, but they didn’t have the beautiful warm tones that we were looking for.” Working with custom Architectural Kitchens in Wellesley, BSR recommended Clearstone Coating, a finishing product that we applied that features a 10 year warranty against etching, scratching, and staining.
